End of Pythagoras Scavenger Hunt

I find it incredible and amazing how we can be learning and studying something that some guy taught thousands of years ago. Do you guys find it cool that this knowledge can last for so long and be passed on for so many years?

What do you think school must have been like thousands of years ago?

Imagine how much the world has changed since Pythagoras was alive. In my own life I have seen the invention of video games, computers, cell phones, GPS, text messaging, internet. What things do you guys think will be invented by your generation that people will be studying thousands of years from now?

Make sure to post and answer some of these questions and if you do not have a log in account, post as anonymous but leave your initials at the end of your comments.

i think it is iteresting how long the theorem has been around. pythagoras must have been a great man given how smart he was. he had people following him, and what he beleaved in... even jesus followed him. i think in the futuer everything will be really high tech like flying cars, with holograms everywhere...

we think that its amazing that today we use caculaters cause it gives us the answer, but back then he had to think out his problems. good morning

I think I agree with you because since when did they discover the squares or circles.

the history of pythagoras is very important because of the things he did and what he did with his life.He was the first pure mathematicians and many other things.

i think that studying pythagoras accomplishments is really intresting because its impresing how information can be passed down from thousands of years ago that we actually use to this time. v.a.p.g

Yes because it has helped us delevelope new technology that helps us in our daily life. i think schools wthousands of years ago would have been boring with no interest. I think that in te future their will ne more technoloy like teaching students threw the internet and no more school.

Its VERY cool that, that knowledge could last so long o.O

School must have been very primitive, and hard to get a decent education...

in our generation, hydrogen cars will be made, cars that run on water, and all sorts of difeerent things...

I think that it is cool that we get to look back and see who was the first person to make the pythagorean theorem.

On my acount i think that the pythagoras theorem has helped matematicas alot

EDC:I think anything can last as how much the pythagorean theorem has lasted if it is preserved and shared!!
School must have been made of caveman and lots of rocks!!!
Nutrience in a pill!! How the iPhone works and how to build it!!!

yes i find it very cool that something form way way back in the day could still be taught today.
And schools were probly the same because as you can see they were taught the pythagorean theorem.

i think it is pretty cool that things could be passed on generation by generation......i think school back then was probably hard because they didnt have technology...........i think more types of computers, cell phones, n games will be invented****L.T.C*****

I think the pythagoras helped me understand math even better

I think it is amazing that were learning about something that was invented 2500 years ago. I think school would of been hella boring. I hope flying cars, and energy efficent cars that drive on there own.

I think its pretty ku how the knowledge from years ago is used still now.School many years ago had been kinda hard because they didnt have no technology like we do now.
